Kharkiv: ANIMAfest May 2008
Dear friends!
I'm an executive director of the festival of Puppet theatres and other forms of scenic animation ANIMA.
The ANIMAfest is organized by the Kharkiv Municipal Charity "Fund of Art Development for Children and Youth". It takes place in Kharkiv, Ukraine, every even year. In odd years touring to Ukraine for the best examples of scenic animation art are organized.
The aim of ANIMAfest is to acquaint the public at large with the best examples of scenic animation art, with its today's forms and displays, to popularize the newest tendencies in this extraordinarily vivid, rich after forms and themes kind of art as a scenic animation. To attract to the project the artistic public, in particular leading figures of theater of animation of Ukraine and foreignness; to pay attention of spectators, mass media, artists and patrons of art to the art of scenic animation.
The next festival will take place in Kharkiv in May 2008. It'll have a competition program and a special events: the festival of street performances. The international jury will define 3 winners, who will receive money prizes.
We'd like to ask you to recommend us puppeteers for the participation for indoor program and outside.
