24. International Festival of Puppetry Art

We would like to inform you that the Banialuka Puppet Theatre in Bielsko-Biala, Poland is preparing the XXIVth edition of our International Festival of Puppetry Art. Our next festival will be held in Bielsko-Biala from 22 - 26 May 2010. The festival shall host productions of puppetry and visual theatre, for both adults and children alike. We are looking for unique performances and new means of theatrical expression. The shows should be visually-based and have a minimum of words, as we have an international audience during our festival. If you are interested in participating in our festival, please send us your completed application form, together with a video/VCD/ DVD recording and a brief summary of your production, including information about your company. The closing date for applications is 15 October 2009. You can read about the last edition of our Festival as well as about its history on our website (archive).
