9th Istanbul International Puppet Festival

Dear Sir/Madam,

Istanbul International Puppet Festival announces that the 9th edition of the festival will be held between the 3rd and the 10th May 2006.

The aim of the Festival is to introduce different styles of puppetry to Turkish audiences. Being one of the most prestigious events in the international scene, Istanbul International Puppet Festival is a highly selective organization and it is open mostly to the best masters of the puppet art. The selection criteria of performances is searching for modern interpretations and fantasy in puppetry. The Istanbul International Puppet Festival is proud to be an organization relatively small but rich in artistic content. In addition to shows; seminars and exhibitions on puppet theatre will be held during the Festival. Besides, we would like to share the egsotic magic of Istanbul; a city which is situated on one of the most important meeting points of the world. The city, in which two continents collides, awaits you with all its historic charm and beauty!
